A contact is a person or company with whom you want to store data for record keeping and communication purposes. Once a contact creates an account, you can communicate with them via Messages. Contacts may have one or more roles within your account, such as tenant, lessor/unit owner, or team member.
Tenants:
Tenants (formerly known as Payers) can be linked to leases and invoices. They will receive unique payment links to pay their pending invoices. Tenants with leases can also request maintenance for the unit they currently reside in by accessing the Maintenance feature on their tenant profile.
Lessors/Unit Owners:
As a property manager, you can add the unit owners you manage properties for and include them on the lease or invoice. This will display their names as the issuers of the lease/invoice.
Team Members:
If you are part of a team, you can add your fellow team members to your portfolio with the preferred access level you want to grant them. Learn more about how to invite a team member.
